The sun is shining, and the birds are chirping in north London. Everything seems to be going right at the moment for all teams donning the famous Arsenal red and white.

Jack Wilshere’s U18s beat Manchester City with a wild 120th-minute winner to punch their FA Youth Cup final tickets. Over at Meadow Park, Arsenal Women have qualified for the Champions League semi-finals and have found themselves back in the WSL title race. They’re only three points behind their next opponent in the league, Manchester United. And, of course, the men sit atop the Premier League table with just nine matches left.

Arsenal’s young guns shine

Myles Lewis-Skelly’s header sent Arsenal to the FA Youth Cup final on Tuesday night at the Emirates.

It was a massive win for these young Gunners and a moment that Jack Wilshere described as “one of the best moments” of his career. That says a lot for someone that had so many great moments as a player. These players clearly mean a lot to him, and it’s great to see him thriving in his first season managing the youth squads. Wilshere wants a big crowd for the final in the Emirates, citing over 60,000 in attendance for United’s youth team being there last season.

The women are defying the odds

After a massive win against Manchester City last weekend, Arsenal Women are back in the title race.

It will come down to the wire with first and fourth place in the WSL only separated by three points. Arsenal have a massive match against United once the action resumes after the international break. Most fans would have been happy with the Conti Cup victory in this injury-riddled season. Still, this side has shown so much by refusing to leave the title race and will now prepare for a massive Champions League showdown against Wolfsburg.

Their semi-final opponents were responsible for kicking the Gunners out of the tournament last season, so Arsenal will be looking for redemption. After beating German table-toppers Bayern Munich, Jonas Eidevall’s side will be full of confidence heading into their next European tie.

All is looking good in north London. Hopefully, every Arsenal team will be just as happy come the end of May.
