West Ham 2-2 Arsenal: Player ratings as Gunners’ title hopes dealt blow

Midfielders

Thomas Partey (DM) – 4/10 – It was Partey’s overconfidence that brought West Ham back into the game as he endured a pretty wretched end to the first half. Was withdrawn just after the hour.

Granit Xhaka (CM) – 5.5/10 – Took advantage of the space offered to him by the hosts in the opening stages, but his performance with the ball was otherwise sub-par. Too slow at times.

Martin Odegaard (CM) – 6.5/10 – We all expected Odegaard to have a field day in east London, and he started the contest superbly. The skipper got himself on the scoresheet after playing a major role in the opener. Tried to make something happen after West Ham equalised.
