3 standout players from crushing draw against West Ham

2. Gabriel Jesus
Arsenal have done exceptionally well to be so high up on the table with Jesus out for the past three months. While there were concerns about his goal drought in the earlier half of the season and how long he would take to build up form, they have since been dispelled. Four goals in three games speak volumes about Jesus’ quality.
He tried to do it all against West Ham. He ensured Arsenal took advantage of their opening dominance, scoring a simple but crucial tap-in. For the rest of the game, his play was largely outside the box as he struggled to find space in a crowded West Ham box. Jesus dropped deep repeatedly, even popping up in the right back and defensive midfield positions just to get on the ball.
Jesus was withdrawn early, perhaps due to still not being fully fit. Despite the points dropped in recent weeks, the Brazilian has been a bright spark. His goals will continue to be influential for Arsenal for the few remaining games of the season.
