Arsenal travel to the Etihad to take on Manchester City in a true title decider as both teams have polar opposite form lines.

The Gunners were eight points clear of City just a matter of weeks ago. Now, after three successive draws, Arsenal travel to the Etihad Stadium needing three points to take back control of the title race.

With William Saliba ruled out and Granit Xhaka touch and go, the Gunners could be at their weakest at the most inopportune time.

A rampaging City side is a daunting task for Arsenal if it is fully healthy, but with no Saliba and likely an underdone Xhaka, that task becomes extremely difficult. It isn’t impossible for Arsenal to get a positive result from the Etihad as they’ve competed impressively against Pep Guardiola’s side in their two previous meetings this term.

The Gunners can’t afford any slip-ups until the end of the season as the title race will depend on them being bulletproof… starting with City.

Here are three things to look for against Manchester City.

1. The response

Exactly how Arsenal responds at the Etihad will go a long way in deciding the Premier League title.

After three consecutive draws to Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton, the Gunners let two 2-0 leads slip and were down 3-1 to the Saints.

How they start the game against City will be telling and if they are still in the mode that saw Southampton play through them with ease, the title will be sitting in City’s trophy cabinet at full time.
