At this stage, Ramsdale has very few doubters left within the Arsenal fanbase. However, rival fans can still sometimes be heard questioning whether the Englishman is a reliable enough shot-stopper. Against Newcastle, he made vital stops to deny Fabian Schar, Allan Saint-Maximin and many others as the 24-year-old secured his tenth away clean sheet in the Premier League this season – only the third goalkeeper ever to achieve such a feat.
