Arsenal play host to Brighton on Sunday, knowing a win is all that matters as the Gunners remain hot on the heels of Manchester City.

The season is slowly drawing to a close, and Arsenal know they must keep winning. Currently, they are just one point behind leaders Manchester City who have a game in hand, and should Pep Guardiola’s side drop points, the Gunners could move back to the top of the table.

But in their way is a Brighton side who are currently seventh in the table and are eyeing up European football next season. With both sides having so much to play for, this promises to be an entertaining clash, but the visitors are hobbled by injuries which is music to the ears of Arsenal fans.

Here are three things to look out for at the Emirates.

1. Can Arsenal maintain the rage?

Keeping pressure on the juggernaut that is City can be a tricky thing to do, but thus far, Arsenal have pushed them all the way.

But…

Can Mikel Arteta’s team continue to fight the fight and bank three points against Brighton? Knowing that anything other than a win would likely give City the Premier League title, the Gunners need to go for the throat on Sunday.

In a true ‘everything is on the line’ game, Arsenal must do all they can to get a win. But the mental fortitude needed will be something that Arteta needs to lean on as they have shown before they can match it with anyone. Now, with the pressure on, they must go again.
