The Scot has only played more than 70 minutes in a game twice since December 26, and now, with Oleksandr Zinchenko ruled out for the rest of the season, Kieran Tierney gets his chance to impress.
William Saliba is also another who is out for the season, so Jakub Kiwior will likely get the nod to partner Gabriel at the heart of the defence.
Just how Arteta will have Tierney play will be a fascinating watch, as well as if Thomas Partey gets reinstated or if Jorginho continues at the base of midfield. In the absence of Zinchenko against a Brighton side that loves to dominate possession, control might be a little tougher to come by.
