We’ve reached a rare serene point in the calendar year.

The 2022/23 season is in the books and the summer transfer window is not yet officially open for business. While a relentless barrage of transfer rumours are expected, there’s little for Arsenal supporters to stress about for a while yet.

Before you know it, however, you’ll be thinking about next season. Respite is for the weak.

Pre-season at London Colney is expected to get underway at the start of July ahead of our second consecutive tour to the United States following last summer’s success.

Before all that, though, the Premier League will reveal all the fixtures for the 2023/24 season. The absence of live action renders the announcement somewhat exciting, and it’s certainly strange that the fixture release generates so much buzz considering that we know exactly who we’ll be playing.

Nevertheless, it’s quite intriguing discovering who Arsenal will be playing at both the start and end of the season, as well as when the North London derbies have been scheduled for. Eyes will undoubtedly focus on upcoming bouts against Manchester City, also.

When are Arsenal’s 2023/24 Premier League fixtures released?

All 380 Premier League fixtures will be released at 09:00 (BST) on Thursday 15 June with the season set to get underway two months later on Saturday 12 August.

Arsenal benefitted from a kind opening to the 2022/23 season as they won their opening five games and nine of their first ten. We’ll be hoping for similar good fortune this time around, although I’m sure Mikel Arteta won’t be too bothered about who his side take on to open up 2023/24 – just not Luton away on a Friday night, please.

Regarding the club’s Champions League fixtures, those will be revealed after the group stage draw takes place on 31 August. Nevertheless, here are when Arsenal’s group stage fixtures have been scheduled for:

  • Matchday 1 – 19/20 September
  • Matchday 2 – 3/4 October
  • Matchday 3 – 24/25 October
  • Matchday 4 – 7/8 November
  • Matchday 5 – 28/29 November
  • Matchday 6 – 12/13 December

Players will also be treated to a mid-season break in January before the Premier League season draws to a close on Sunday 19 May 2024.
