2. The most attractive PL club for Simons?

In the red side of London, Arteta’s side is guaranteed to play in next season’s Champions League. The 20-year-old’s current club, PSV, must go through qualifying stages and win to be able to offer Simon’s the same attraction. As well as the Champions League, Arsenal’s enticing project sees them in a strong position in a league regarded as the best in the world.

"“It is also a big difference for the players wether or not you will play in the Champions League… that is the priority for me. It is also very important for my development.” – Simons told De Telegraaf in April 2023"

Mikel Arteta also has a reputation for being able to develop young attackers. In London, young stars Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have led Arsenal on a title charge. Up north in Manchester, the Spaniard also got the best out of Raheem Sterling, who thrived (scoring 18 and assisting 11) in the Centurion season.

Simons will also have healthy competition while having a realistic possibility of breaking into the side. At teams like Manchester City, their talented array of forwards would see Simons struggle for game-time like Julián Álvarez currently does, but the Gunners could ensure he would have an opportunity to show why he was signed.
