2. Folarin Balogun

With Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah on the club’s books, Arsenal will likely sell Balogun this summer off the back of his excellent season in Ligue 1 with Reims.

Balogun, who recently committed to the USMNT, proved a sensation during his loan spell and scored 21 league goals in 37 games.

Arsenal are believed to be happy to let Balogun depart this summer, and the club will be looking to garner around £35m/£40m for his sale. Such a valuation would knock a significant amount off Caicedo’s fee, but Brighton’s current options up top, which include Evan Ferguson, Danny Welbeck, and Deniz Undav, means it’s not a position of need.

Balogun is the sort of player the Seagulls appreciate, but it seems unlikely that he’d be part of any exchange, although it would help Arsenal out tremendously from a monetary POV.
