If Arsenal are to enjoy a productive transfer window which many believe is imperative if they’re to build on their excellent 2022/23 season, then they’re going to need to sell well.

Supporters may point towards Kieran Tierney, Rob Holding, Granit Xhaka, and potentially Thomas Partey as players that could be sold this summer to facilitate the arrival of fresh talent. However, there’s another path for the Gunners to venture down.

Arsenal will welcome back a whole host of loanees back to London Colney for the start of pre-season, with 11 in total spending at least some portion of the current campaign away from north London.

That showing alone was enough to convince pretty much everybody that he didn’t/doesn’t have a future at Arsenal, and after he spent 2022/23 with Alanyaspor, the Gunners should now try to sell him permanently.

Arthur Okonkwo: LOAN – Karl Hein impressed during the mid-season friendlies and he should remain the club’s third-choice keeper. Arsenal, however, won’t want to get rid of Okonkwo so I expect another loan for the 21-year-old.
