26 December 2023 – Boxing Day clash with West Ham

Football is synonymous with the festive calendar, although the Premier League has taken steps to ensure the period isn’t so hectic this time around.

Nevertheless, a full supply of Boxing Day fixtures have been scheduled and, for the second season running, Arsenal are hosting West Ham the day after Christmas. The Gunners fell behind in their festive meeting last season before turning things around in the second half and winning 3-1.

While this London derby sits among the least significant in Arsenal’s calendar, the potential arrival of the current West Ham skipper will undoubtedly add an edge to this fixture. It’ll be the first time Rice lines up against his former club if he was to make the move to north London.
