3 reasons why Arsenal should choose Folarin Balogun over Eddie Nketiah

3. Balogun’s ceiling is far higher

By now, most of us know what Nketiah’s ceiling is. He is a competent backup who can come in for three or four games and do a job as he did last season. But can he be more than that? Maybe.

For Balogun, he showed for Reims last season that he is capable of leading the line consistently and he scored goals regularly.

There is still a feeling that we don’t know what Balogun could become if given a chance at Arsenal, and going by his exploits in France, he has already surpassed Nketiah despite being three years younger.
