4 defenders Arsenal should sell this summer

Tierney has long been linked with a summer departure after his minutes dwindled last season following the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Once a crucial cog in Arteta’s framework, Tierney has been thrust to the backbenches with the Spaniard enjoying his shiny new inverted toy. The Scot can’t do what Zinchenko does in possession, and the manager has moved beyond the days of his left-back marauding up and down the touchline.
Arteta is going to stick with his inverted roles, so it doesn’t make much sense for Tierney to remain on the club’s books, as talented as he is. He’s now a disposable asset, and one who could generate a sizeable fee, especially if a Premier League club comes calling.
Rumours regarding his exit have gone cold in recent weeks, but Newcastle have previously been linked with a move.
