4. Milan

Serie A’s big boys are reportedly looking at Balogun, but the move that makes the most sense for the young forward is Milan.

If Victor Osimhen remains in Naples, which seems likely, what would be the point of Balogun signing for Rudi Garcia’s side? Inter, meanwhile, need a striker after Edin Dzeko’s exit, but their financial strife renders any possible deal tricky.

Milan are hardly cash-rich right now, but they should be able to finance a move for the Arsenal striker. The Rossoneri are in need of fresh blood in their frontline. While Olivier Giroud continues to perform at a high level, his form will slide at some point and Milan need a succession plan. Their current backup options are sub-par.

While Balogun is determined to earn regular minutes right away, learning from Giroud could be an invaluable education for the 22-year-old and he’s got all the minerals to eventually succeed the Frenchman as Milan’s number nine.
