3. Kai Havertz makes his debut

Havertz made his first Arsenal appearance, and while he didn’t have an impact on the game, it is still good to see the German out and about.

Deployed in a midfield role by Arteta, which we think will be commonplace this season, the German is still getting his feet underneath him in Arteta’s system. Still, he will be better for the run, and the more minutes he can get over the next few weeks will help him acclimate quicker before the league season begins.
