Midfielders

Thomas Partey (DM) – 6.5/10 – Like the rest of his teammates, it took some time for Partey to settle. Once he found his feet, the Ghanaian helped the Gunners grow into the contest with his duel-winning capacity and distribution. However, he was rolled superbly by Phil Foden in the build-up to City’s opener.

Declan Rice (CM) – 6.5/10 – Excellent without the ball and his recovery to dispossess Bernardo midway through the second half was trademark Rice. Offered more with the ball after the break.

Martin Odegaard (CM) – 7/10 – This wasn’t a dominant Odegaard display, but the Norwegian had some wonderful moments. Constantly sought to rev up the red half of Wembley.
