Premier League: 2nd – As much as I wanted to predict Arsenal winning the league this season, it might be a tall order, but given how any season can go, the Gunners can push City all the way, and even win it all.

Champions League: Round of 16 – Given that the Champions League is on the agenda, I feel most will be happy with getting out of the group stage given our lengthy absence from the competition.

Player of the Season: William Saliba – If he stays healthy, we will once again see what a colossus he was in the heart of defence. I feel like he’s going to take another leap forward this season. While yes, there are the likes of Bukayo and Odegaard, I went a little left-field with my choice.

One to watch: Fabio Vieira – He had a season under his belt to acclimatise to the rigours of Premier League football, now is the time to show he is worth the fee paid. He has shown flashes of his talent, but it needs to be more consistent.

Best signing: Jurrien Timber – While some might go for Rice, after seeing Timber play in pre-season, he looks a lock to be a starter this season. How he copes with the physicality and pace of the league will make for good viewing, but it looks like he’ll take it in his stride.
