Winner: Man City – It is hard to look past City as much as I want to. Arsenal has made some good
additions and we imagine that Liverpool will be improved, but it’s the Cityzens’ title to lose.

Top 4: City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd – City again to top the league and I feel that it will be Arsenal and Liverpool battling it out for second sport (although I feel both can really challenge City). United need to finish in the top four after their summer spending.

Golden Boot: Erling Haaland – There’s a City theme here which is annoying, but Haaland is a colossus and will again score goals for fun. With Harry Kane on his way to Bayern Munich, Haaland’s only real challenger might not be there.

Relegated teams: Luton, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth – Both Forest and Bournemouth were lucky to escape relegation last season and I get the sense that both will again be fighting against the drop. As for Luton, out of the three promoted teams, they feel to me the most likely to struggle.

Surprise package: Aston Villa to push for top four – Under Unai Emery, Villa finished a very respectable seventh last season and only six points adrift of Liverpool in fifth. With another year of natural progression from the playing group, Villa could push the top teams in the league once again.
