Arsenal head to Selhurst Park on Monday night to end Matchday 2.

An away trip to Crystal Palace in what is a London derby won’t be plain sailing for the Gunners. It will be their first road fixture of the year after they got their 2023/24 season off to a winning start last weekend as they beat Nottingham Forest 2-1.

If the Gunners are looking to challenge for a Premier League title, how they play away from the Emirates is essential. Last season the Gunners were 12-3-4 earning 39 points from those 19 fixtures.

The year prior the Gunners were 9-1-9 in away fixtures earning only 28 points. In fact, Arsenal earned more points than Man City did away from home, but it was CIty’s pristine record at the Etihad which helped them to their third-straight league title.

However, at the very least, Arsenal’s away record last year was 11 points better than the season prior. They must produce similar numbers in 2023/24 to challenge the Cityzens once more.
