Arsenal return home after a tough 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Maybe the Gunners need home cooking. After a London derby triumph away at Selhurst Park, Mikel Arteta’s men will welcome another London club to the Emirates on Saturday when Fulham come to town.

Last season, the Gunners completed the double over their London rivals, coming from behind to win 2-1 at the Emirates before dominating them at Craven Cottage in a 3-0 win.

3 things to watch when Arsenal host Fulham on Saturday

Arsenal have not been at their best so far this season but have still secured all six points from their first two matches. Can the Gunners find their most fluent form on Saturday? Here are three things to look out for.

1) Gabriel and Zinchenko in the starting XI?

I think most Arsenal supporters have seen enough of Thomas Partey in the inverted right-back role to pass a verdict; it doesn’t quite work. Oleksandr Zinchenko not being fit perhaps was the reason for the experiment. However, after making a late appearance at Selhurst Park, he should be good to go from the start on Saturday.

Hopefully, he slots in at left-back which should see Gabriel return to the starting XI.

Gabriel has had issues with concentration in some matches but for the most part, is one of the best defenders in the Premier League. His partnership with William Saliba was so important in Arsenal’s title push last season. He is also a nice target on set plays for headers.

Having Gabriel not in the lineup is still puzzling but if Arsenal are to find their best form, the Brazilian needs to be in the starting XI along with Zinchenko.
