Jesus was seen training on Thursday and that can only be good news for Arsenal. While Jesus may not be fully fit, working him back slowly into the fold is preferred. He was on the shelf for a lot of last season and has started 2023/24 on the injured list.

My preference is for Arteta to bring him back slowly.

Arsenal need Jesus this season more than ever as they compete in four competitions and against the best sides in Europe. Bringing him back earlier than anticipated may sound good but it is not necessary. Eddie Nkietah and Leandro Trossard have shown they are more than capable of creating and scoring.
