3) Can Kai Havertz find his role?

The criticism for Havertz in the first two matches has been harsh but some of it has been warranted.

He is yet to find his footing in this side, but it’s not been for a lack of effort. In the early stages of Monday’s game, he found Gabriel Martinelli on the left side of the box, and the Brazilian should’ve done better with the opening he was presented with. Havertz ended with a 91% pass accuracy and won the most duels during the match against Palace. Granted, that doesn’t get noticed as much as goals and assists do, but he is contributing. When adding a price tag for a player most fans felt Arsenal didn’t need, things like pass accuracy and won duels don’t get mentioned much.

I felt he had a much better second match than first, and hopefully, he progresses in the third match and shows why Arteta paid so much for him.
