2. Nicolas Pepe

We’ve barely heard a peep about Pepe all summer. Perhaps the only time he’s been discussed was when people noted that Declan Rice had smashed the Ivorian’s £72m transfer record.

While Pepe put up half-decent numbers in an Arsenal shirt, his status as a major flop has long been secured. He failed to garner the trust of Mikel Arteta, and although Arsenal could do with greater depth behind Bukayo Saka, the Spanish boss seemingly has no interest in once again entertaining the former Lille star.

His loan spell at Nice last season was pretty forgettable, and his lack of suitors this summer is a concern. However, Arsenal are determined to let him go one way or another before the deadline.

Besiktas were once linked, but the player is said to have rejected a move to Turkey. So, it’s anyone’s guess as to where he ends up.
