3. Nketiah or Jesus?

This is a tough call.

Taking Eddie Nketiah out for Leandro Trossard was not the right decision last weekend. Nketiah had scored a goal in the first match and was a disturbance against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. As a super sub, Nketiah again showed his work rate and scoring ability, putting a Vieira pass into the net that should have sealed the victory against Fulham last Saturday.

Gabriel Jesus came on in the last few minutes of the match after Fulham equalised. If Jesus is fully fit, then Jesus will probably get the nod, but I still question if is ready for a big match after coming back from a minor knee procedure.

I believe the Hale End product should start considering his impressive opening to the new season. If you don’t believe me, maybe his recent call up to the English side will make you a believer. Gareth Southgate believes he’s a contributor.
