2. Reiss Nelson

Reiss Nelson was as energetic as ever on the weekend. His confidence will certainly have rocketed, especially with his goal. Throughout the cup tie, he remained lively. He was fairly effective on the ball while being dedicated off it.

Saka’s injury, along with those of Martinelli and Trossard, only increases the chance Nelson plays on Saturday. His versatility on either wing, along with his good form, means Arteta should trust him. There is no need to rush back any injured players as Nelson is more than good enough to fill in.

Nelson has flittered around the edges this season. Arsenal are particularly well-stocked on the wings meaning chances have been few and far between. Yet Bournemouth would be a golden opportunity for the winger to showcase his talent in the league and force his way into Arteta’s thoughts. Hopefully, he can do so with a good performance this weekend.
