1. Jorginho

Jorginho needed only one game to recover from his mistake against Tottenham. Against Brentford, the midfielder made his presence felt. He controlled the game from the centre of the park, distributing effectively while displaying his passing repertoire.

Like Nelson’s situation on the wings, Jorginho’s form warrants a start and more recovery time for Rice. His calmness in the most crowded part of the pitch will be crucial to Arsenal playing at their own tempo. With the crowd looking to boost their players’ performances, Jorginho will allow Arsenal to take the sting out of the game.

Arsenal will look to stay competitive against Manchester City this season. A Derby Day draw will have hurt their confidence, but a win against Bournemouth could be important to building momentum ahead of City’s visit to the Emirates. Hopefully, they can continue their unbeaten run and secure a win.
