Arsenal had a superb afternoon against Bournemouth, slamming in four goals without reply as Kai Havertz opened his goalscoring account.

Arsenal had a perfect Saturday afternoon stroll as they hammered Bournemouth 4-0 to maintain their unbeaten start to the Premier League season.

The lead-up to the game was dominated by several injury issues. Still, Mikel Arteta played Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, and Declan Rice from the outset, and the result was never in doubt.

Saka opened the scoring after a Gabriel Jesus header bounced off the upright and into his direction before Martin Odegaard converted his penalty after Eddie Nketiah was brought down in the area.

The Gunners were cruising in the second half when Odegaard was taken down in the area, and the Arsenal captain allowed Kai Havertz to step up and slot his first goal for the club.

With the game over as a contest, with injury time winding down, Ben White got on the end of an Odegaard cross and headed home to put a cherry on top of what was a perfect afternoon for the Gunners.

Saliba wasn’t tested too much but did provide a sensational tackle that denied Dominic Solanke in the first half. For Gabriel, the Brazilian has continued his good form and, like Saliba, produced a good tackle on the stroke of half-time that could have been a goal and given Bournemouth life.

Don’t tinker anymore Mikel, leave it.
