Midfielders

Declan Rice (DM) – 7/10 – Pretty relentless, and did a fine job of recovering possession to deny Lens in transition in the opening period. One of few who performed close to their apex.

Kai Havertz (CM) – 5/10 – Almost went full RVP with a volley in the first half, but was denied by Samba. Lacked conviction in possession amid a disjointed display.

Martin Odegaard (CM) – 5.5/10 – Withdrawn with ten minutes remaining following a tepid display. Offered security in deeper positions, but had little influence in the final third.
