3. Martin Odegaard

The skipper has not been at his best. He is critical in creating chances for the Gunners.

If you look at the season, aside from away at Bournemouth and at home to PSV in the Champions League, the chances have not come easy. Teams are playing a more defensive style against the Gunners and understandably so, the Norwegian playmaker has to create more for his teammates.

A lot was said last season when he wasn’t trying to create for himself. It seems like this season he’s looking to create too much for himself. If the Gunners are to win trophies this season, they need Odegaard to create more and dish out assists.
