Forwards

Bukayo Saka (RW) – 6.5/10 – Saka has set such a high standard for himself and when his performances are not up to that required level is seen as having a poor game. He had an assist to his name despite being quiet.

Gabriel Martinelli (LW) – 6.5/10 – Had a busy day on the left flank but could not get his name on the scoresheet. Had a decent attempt in the second half which the goalkeeper made a good save to push it out for a corner.

Leandro Trossard (ST) – 8.5/10 – Opened the scoring on the stroke of half time without getting the opportunity to celebrate. His timing and anticipation was excellent and got his head on Bukayo Saka’s header ahead of the goalkeeper. He also provided the assist for Saliba’s goal while his corner kick caused Burnley problems including Zinchenko’s goal.

Substitutes

Fabio Vieira – 4.5/10 – Came on in the 58th minute to replace Kai Havertz and was sent off in the 83rd minute for a reckless challenge. It was a harsh decision but we’ve seen it given. No complaints there.

Reiss Nelson – N/A

Eddie Nketiah – N/A
