2. Gabriel Jesus

While Arsenal did a good job of ensuring Odegaard remained in north London, Jesus has jetted off to South America and is expected to play some part in Brazil’s upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifier against Argentina.

Jesus has missed a month of action with a hamstring injury and is being assessed by the national team doctors ahead of a potential appearance.

This can be perceived both positively and negatively. Minutes against Argentina would suggest Jesus will be fit for the visit to the Gtech, but his earlier-than-expected return runs the risk of re-injury.
