Midfielders

Declan Rice (DM) – 8/10 – Where would we be without him? After sparing Ramsdale’s blushes, Rice was a driving force in the middle of the park.

Martin Odegaard (CM) – 5/10 – There was an element of his sharpness about Odegaard early on, but his performance drifted into obscurity after the restart.

Leandro Trossard (CM) – 6/10 – His inclusion in this role excited plenty before kick-off, but the reality was somewhat anti-climactic. Trossard did attack the box well and was able to get on the end of crosses as a result.
