2. Chelsea 2-4 Arsenal (April 2022)
Off the back of three straight defeats and with their hopes of a top four finish in jeopardy, Arsenal made the tough trip to Stamford Bridge and came away with a convincing 4-2 victory.
Eddie Nketiah opened the scoring when he pounced on a mistake at the back only for Timo Werner to level it up soon after. Emile Smith Rowe restored the Gunners' advantage with a good finish from the edge of the box with what turned out to be his final goal for the club. Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta grabbed a second equaliser for his side to make it 2-2 at half time.
In the second half, another defensive mix-up by Chelsea allowed Nketiah to poke home his second and put his side in the lead once again. A stoppage time penalty from Bukayo Saka put the stamp on victory for the Gunners, marking a historic win at Stamford Bridge.
The 4-2 victory was a great result for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta as it showed that under him, his side were now able to go to tough grounds and come away with results, something the Gunners had struggled with in previous years.
