Positive #2: Key game time for some

One of the best things about the tie already being decided was that it meant Arsenal could afford to rotate and provide those who need them with minutes.

Ben White was handed a start following his recent return from injury and managed to play 80 minutes. Kieran Tierney and Oleksandr Zinchenko were also given a runout with the latter profiting with a really good performance. Raheem Sterling and Jakub Kiwior were also given a chance to impress after a long time spent on the bench.

Those who needed gametime got it and that is very much a positive for Arsenal. Each of the players were suffering from a lack of match fitness and being given a much-needed chance means they can now offer their services with confidence in the latter stages of the season.

Positive #3: Offers new options

Oleksandr Zinchenko started the game against PSV in midfield and he put in a brilliant performance in the middle of the park.

The Ukrainian grabbed a goal and looked really composed when on the ball. He linked up well with his teammates and overall appeared to be very comfortable in the new position.

Raheem Sterling also impressed playing on the wing and while he has struggled for much of the season, this does present Arteta with an option to call on. With a good performance now under his belt, he could follow this up if he is trusted in more games.

This presents Arteta with new options if he wants to try new things out with his team. The experimentation with Zinchenko's positioning will certainly have benefitted him and and the team while Sterling's showing also makes him a more viable option for the future.
