Having made his return from injury just before the international break and after enduring a mixed season so far, Gabriel Martinelli was one of the Arsenal players who needed to step up for the final months of the season and he did just that against Fulham.

The Brazil international caused all sorts of problems on the left wing with his pace and skill and was a tough force for Timothy Castagne to deal with. His constant threat was evident as he created five chances, the most out of any player on the pitch.

Martinelli's brilliant performance was rewarded when he assisted Bukayo Saka's goal with a brilliant flick on at the front post. It was an all-round good performance from the winger who showed that he can pose a serious threat in the closing stages of the campaign.
