3. Tactical tweaks

Alongside the change in personnel/roles, it seems Arteta might have a better idea of what to expect for the return trip.
PSG dominated the first 30 minutes last week and barely let Arsenal get a touch of the ball, rounding off their initial spell of pressure with the decisive goal.
But the boss knew something was awry and made a tactical tweak which made the next 50 minutes a much more even contest. Speaking post-match, he claimed there was “one issue that we corrected” in the first half – he refused to explain what it was – that helped turn the game around, even if we did not manage to get back level.
It likely pertained to the midfield zone as PSG are so fluid in that area and took control there during the first half, with our reconfigured setup that night lending credence to that theory. Arteta ‘solved’ the problem last time (albeit PSG had two excellent chances late on) with fewer resources, so maybe Arsenal can start off on the front foot this week and take the game to their hosts.
Our football has been of Mickey Mouse quality for the past few months, but get the tactics right this week and we might enjoy some Disneyland worthy magic.
