While Pedro is a talent, there are far better striker options out there for Arsenal to explore, with Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko taking priority on their list.
It would be silly for the Gunners to opt against signing either of these just because Joao Pedro is available for a transfer this summer. His statistics and performances also don't live up to what could be a potential fee of around €70m.
With a potentially clear path at signing Gyokeres due to fellow admirers Manchester United failing to qualify for the Champions League, Arsenal should be prioritising him above any other option with Sesko as a backup choice if a move doesn't materialise. Considering his fee and performances, Pedro should not be considered to be on the same level of demand as this pair.
