2. Offers something different

For much of this season, it has been same old same old for Arsenal. Their frequent decision to play it around the box rather than just send a cross in has hindered them and prevented them from causing serious problems in attack. Those passages of play have often allowed opposition teams to regather themselves in order to successfully defend any attacks.
As the Gunners look to break down a PSG team that boasts a solid backline, they will need something different to their usual approach and Nwaneri can offer that. If he were to come into the midfield, the sense of urgency he often displays on the wing will allow him and his team a chance to control the game in the middle of the park.
Not only can Nwaneri cause problems with his skill and trickery, he also has a tendency to cross the ball when needed. In all competitions, he has played 79 crosses into the box in just 1313 minutes of football, whereas Odegaard has played 131 crosses in 3152 minutes.
Nwaneri also enjoys cutting inside onto his left foot to shoot, something Odegaard has come under plenty of criticism for not doing. Three of his nine goals this season have come from outside the box while five have been a result of drifting inside before finishing with his left foot. His ability to do so will offer the Gunners a way of getting through the PSG defence when their standard play is too difficult.
