On too many occasions, Arsenal have let talented youngsters leave the club for cheap fees or on free transfers and they finally look to be avoiding this.

A new deal for Nwaneri will eradicate fears of repeating the past, that has seen Arsenal lose the likes of Serge Gnabry for little to nothing. The club have gained a reputation in recent times for failing to not only develop youngsters but also earn good fees.

Someone of Nwaneri's talent and potential must be made a priority in tying down a long-term future at the club and Arsenal look to be acting on this, knowing it is crucial.
