Handed his second consecutive league start, Ethan Nwaneri marked the occasion with a good performance and a goal to go with.

The youngster started on the right wing once again and caused plenty of trouble for the Brighton defence. He netted the opener for Arsenal when he was put through on goal by Mikel Merino before setting himself to fire past Bart Verbruggen.

Nwaneri showcased his individual brilliance once again and also linked up well with his teammates, having a 100% pass accuracy. While there was room for improvement with his set piece deliveries, he helped out in attack. He was shown a yellow card for timewasting before being taken off at half-time with a muscular issue.
