3. Riccardo Calafiori

In his first start since the beginning of the month, Riccardo Calafiori made an impact for his side in both defence and attack.
The Italian broke in behind the Girona defence early on and finished superbly from a tight angle but had strayed offside in the build-up. He continued to help out his side however, playing 37 accurate passes out of an attempted 41.
Calafiori's best moments came at the back, proving to be a tough force to beat on the flank. He won three tackles, the most out of any player on the pitch, and also won seven out of nine attempted duels. It was an impressive showing from the Italian who has certainly kept himself in contention alongside Myles Lewis-Skelly.
