Leandro Trossard has enjoyed a recent resurgence in form and that continued with another fine performance on Wednesday night.
He found the back of the net when he did really well to control a pass from Jurrien Timber before setting it onto his left foot and putting a deflected effort past a helpless Dean Henderson.
Playing at striker in the absence of Mikel Merino, Trossard did a good job in attack but also managed to drop back and have a big influence on the play. He was often found deeper to be part of his side's linking and build-up in the midfield before making the run into an attacking area. The Belgian showed against Palace that he is ready to offer the side more once again.
