2. Bukayo Saka

Making his first start since his return from injury, Bukayo Saka took the opportunity and pulled the strings for much of the game. The winger enjoyed coming up against David Alaba and capitalised to cause plenty of problems.
He offered his teammates a perfect chance to grab the opener in the first half when he beat Jude Bellingham to get into the box put a superb low cross across the face of goal but no one could connect.
Despite not getting on the scoresheet providing an assist, Saka still had plenty of influence on the result. He made two marauding runs in the second half which both ended in him winning free kicks for Rice to fire in. He was withdrawn with 15 minutes remaining after taking a knock but that takes nothing away from what was a standout performance from him.
