David Raya went from zero to hero against United as he responded to scrutiny for his contribution to the opening goal to help his side secure a point in the second half.

The Spaniard was poorly positioned for Bruno Fernandes' free kick and that cost him when the midfielder scored his effort. He made up for it after the break however, making a great point-blank stop with his foot to prevent United from going 2-0 up.

Raya's heroics continued when he denied Joshua Zirkzee before preventing a certain winner for Fernandes in stoppage time. The shot-stopper made a superb save in added time before recovering well to scoop the rebound off the goal line. After a difficult first 45, Raya did really well to bounce back and put in a standout performance for the Gunners.
