Arsenal beat Leicester 2-0 on Saturday afternoon as they reduced the gap between themselves and league leaders Liverpool to four points.
It was a flat first half for the Gunners and it took a roll of the dice from Mikel Arteta for the breakthrough. Mikel Merino, brought off the bench as a makeshift striker, headed in from an Ethan Nwaneri cross to put his side ahead with less than ten minutes to play. The Spaniard then grabbed a second when he got on the end of a Leandro Trossard cross to tap in at the back post.
While it was not the greatest performance from the team, there were three players that stood out in Arsenal's crucial victory at Leicester.
1. Ethan Nwaneri

Starting on the right wing once again, Ethan Nwaneri was Arsenal's star man at the King Power Stadium. Part of a makeshift attack, he posed a constant threat to the Leicester defence.
He caused plenty of problems down the right side, completing six dribbles and winning 12 duels, both of which were the most out of any player on the pitch. Nwaneri looked desperate to get on the scoresheet and was denied by the woodwork twice.
While he may not have scored, the youngster managed to have some involvement when he assisted Mikel Merino for the opener. Nwaneri picked up the ball before delivering a perfectly placed cross for the Spaniard to head in.
