If it weren't for David Raya, Arsenal could have conceded a few more and failed to take anything from their trip to Liverpool. While he did let in two goals, he performed well for his side.

The Spaniard denied Luis Diaz the opening goal inside eight minutes with brilliant reactions to get down low and save the effort from point-blank range. He then prevented Curtis Jones adding a third for the hosts with a stop to tip his strike round the post.

Raya was his side's hero in the final seconds of stoppage time as he reacted well to keep out a thunderous header from Virgil van Dijk. Andy Robertson scored the rebound which was eventually ruled out for a foul and offside, but at the time the shotstopper saw what was in front of him and did his job. Without him, the Gunners could have been in trouble at Anfield.
