Lewis-Skelly's performance on Wednesday was one of great maturity. He was very aware of Port Vale's threat on the counter-attack so his runs forward were carefully chosen and done at the right times.

In defence, Lewis-Skelly was on the receiving end of some rough stuff from Port Vale. But, Lewis-Skelly's temperament appears to be improving and he didn't retaliate in the slightest.

Having waited patiently for this opportunity, he gave Arteta a timely reminder of what he can bring to the team.
