Arsenal's great home form continued in the Premier League as they stormed to a comfortable three goal win at the Emirates on Saturday. As Arsenal got their title bid back on track, three players in particular stood out above the rest.

Martin Zubimendi and Viktor Gyökeres have received their share of criticism after the opening few games. Zubimendi has been criticised for not being dynamic enough, while Gyökeres has been vilified for his performances at Old Trafford and Anfield.

Eberechi Eze made his full debut, as did Chrithian Mosquera. There was a surprise sprung by Arteta as he brought Mikel Merino in for Declan Rice in midfield. Gabriel Martinelli was dropped in favour of Eze on the left and Mosquera deputised for William Saliba, who had not recovered from an ankle injury sufficiently well enough to take part.

After a slow start, Arsenal broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute. Madueke's corner was partially cleared high and to the edge of the box by Forest. The ball seemed to take an age to come down before it was met with a sensational volley from Zubimendi. More on that later.

Gyökeres got the second half off to a flyer when he fired in from close range after good work from Eze down the left. The summer signing from Sporting Lisbon notched his third in four games and later hit the woodwork with a thumping drive from a narrow angle.

Zubimendi grabbed his second and Arsenal's third with eleven minutes left on the clock. An inviting inswinging cross from substitute, Leandro Trossard, was begging to be met. Zubimendi dutifully obliged with a header which he guided high into the net beyond Forest keeper Matz Sels.

1. Noni Madueke

Noni Madueke is already beginning to justify Arteta's faith in him. After impressive performances for England during the international break, he returned to action for Arsenal determined to continue his good run of form.

The winger contributed five key passes and completed five dribbles in an impressive attacking display. It is clear that even the most critical fans of the move are beginning to warm to Madueke. It's hard not to be excited by his direct approach and attacking intent.

Arteta will have been delighted by Madueke's defensive contribution too. The former Chelsea man made three tackles and an interception in an excellent all-round performance.
