Viktor Gyökeres gets a atandout mention today. His goal from close range emphasised exactly why Arsenal paid so much money for the Swedish striker in the summer.
It's fair to argue that Gyökeres is not going to be every fan's cup of tea. He doesn't link up play as fluidly as Havertz, nor does he drop deep to receive the ball. His job is simply to run the channels, stay central, and get on the end of good balls into the box.
He did his job perfectly on Saturday and he's growing in confidence. Gyökeres will always be less prominent in games where Arsenal cede possession and he's unlikely to have many touches in a game. However, when the chances come Gyökeres has proven he is exactly what the Gunners have been crying out for.
